It has been so nice here in Alaska, that the "ice" has melted a bit.... and we are going to wait for it to re-freeze.
The Tuesday Ice Chip is taking a vacation for a few weeks. Watch for the next one in mid-September.
Your Ice Pics newsletter will still be arriving on Fridays, so watch for them.
I am continually grateful for the support and sharing of the message by all of you. It is very humbling. I am especially honored by my colleagues, Annetta Chappell, Bronwyn Emery Ashbaker, Lisa Coleman, LuAnn Buechler and Pam Russell--they make up the RTI team. They help spread the message of empowering word choice.
Please take the time to enjoy your summer. For that matter, enjoy each day....
"To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special."
~~~ Jim Valvano, Inaugural ESPY's speech, accepting the Arthur Ashe Courage & Humanitarian Award - March 4, 1993
Laugh. Think. Cry. Make it a full day.
See you back on the Ice Chips in a few weeks....
Empowering Regards,
Bob
