Giving - Life is For Giving Foundation






			The Life is For Giving Foundation has two main goals: 1). to provide a “Moment of Joy” for a terminally ill adult as they battle their illness, and 2). to actively seek out and financially support both local and national non-profit organizations with an Alaskan presence. The Foundation’s Board of Directors has identified the following organizations to receive financial support through our philanthropic arm. Realizing that our philanthropy is an ever expanding work in progress, our basic philosophy is to encompass as many worthy organizations as possible to assist with financial contributions. Access Alaska Alaska Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired (ACB&VI) Alaska Independent Blind (AIB) Anchorage Waterways Council (AWC) Alaska Workers Association (AWA) Anchorage Youth Sports Programs Cancer Research in Alaska Intervention Helpline Maybe you know of, or are affiliated with, an organization that we need to know about. If so, please contact us about your organization and we will consider adding you to our growing list of beneficiaries. Our commitment is to disperse a minimum of 80% of all contributions directly to the identified organizations and programs. As more funding becomes available through grants and fundraising events, we will increase that percentage of contribution.
