How many of us have wondered…”I wish I could have traveled to…”, or “I’ve always wanted to…”? Sometimes circumstances seemingly prevent us from accomplishing our goals and dreams. Sometimes those circumstances include a debilitating illness.
                    
“Moment of Joy” is a program designed to grant a “special moment” for an adult who is dealing with a terminal illness, allowing them to experience that “Moment of Joy” they thought might never happen.

Our first “Moment of Joy” was very special.  Click here for Tom Terry’s story.  Special thanks to the following: Jerry Royse, President of Anchorage based AlaskaYellowpages.com who donated the airline tickets; Ken and June Miller, owners of Whittier based Bread-n-Butter Charters, for donating a day on Prince William Sound fishing for Halibut; and Russ Pogue & Rick Bennett, owners of Arctic Communications, Inc. in Anchorage, for providing a day of river fishing for Salmon, to round out this dream trip.
