Phil Richards – Helps develop The RTI Community after being introduced to Remember the Ice
Working with Bob Nicoll from Remember the Ice started with online marketing basics. As an author and small business owner, Bob Nicoll had a successful book and a loyal group of followers and his dream was to create a membership site for them. To achieve a membership site for his followers we had to start with online marketing basics. I met Bob originally through Ecademy, where I read a blog of his about the Remember the Ice concept. The thing that caught my eye….please click here to read more.
Cornelis deMaijer — Empowering word choice set the sails for this business.
I would like to share an ongoing, powerful, Remember the Ice success story.
In October 2008, I met Cornelis de Maijer from Hoogland, The Netherlands. He is the managing partner for a luxury sailing yacht company catering to those desiring a posh and pampered cruise on the Mediterranean Sea. You really experience ”Absolute Freedom” explains Cornelis. He is also a BlackStar member of the social/business networking website: www.ecademy.com and was using the search mechanism to find a fellow member with a background in: “Positive Word Choice”. Lo and behold, there was a direct match when he typed the key words into the search window. Read more…..

Peter Simoons, “It’s a Fun Game, and Very Useful”
In May I had the pleasure of participating in a Blackstar meeting with Bob and hearing his story about “Remember the Ice”. Since then I often notice text that has the “(k)notty words” in it and feel challenged to rebuild those sentences in another way that these words are out and the text is empowering. That rebuilding is a fun game and very useful, even when text is already written and even printed it is fun to have a look at “how can it be done differently, and more empoweringly”. It helps to sharpen one’s own focus on the (k)notty words and empowering word choice.
I will continue to point people to your work Bob and hope it helps to drive revenue in book sales, the other most pragmatical help I can offer right now is to proof-read your second book when you are ready for it and give you some international feedback on it.
Regards,
Peter
